1. Building your castle

1.1 Construction phase at the beginning of the game

Welcome to Damoria. You should make sure to supply your castle with enough raw materials such as stones, wood, ore, etc. at the beginning of the game in order to achieve wealth and honor beyond your wildest imagination. Start by building the following types of buildings: a quarry, a sawmill and a mine. The best option for you is to concentrate your efforts on expanding the quarry at the very beginning.

Just remember to expand your storehouse first so that you'll have enough space to store the raw materials you produce. Try to expand them 1-2 levels above the highest level of your raw materials building.

It's also good for you to know that when you expand your construction office, the construction times for your other buildings will be shortened.

1.2 Game expansions

Once you've promoted the production of your castle by expanding it, you should take the necessary steps to protect your tiny empire against enemy attacks.

You can create an effective system of defense for yourself by building the following production facilities: barracks, stables and catapult workshops. Use these facilities to prepare your troops to defend your castle.

The next step for you to take is to expand your barracks so that you can use your standard troop of foot soldiers. The barracks should be expanded to around level 10, as this will help reduce the time it takes to create new troops.

Just remember to expand the troop's living quarters first in order to provide them with enough room to live. These troops will defend your castle with their lives.

If you expand your walls, your troops will receive an additional boost in their defense values. And it will also help increase the basic value of your castle, thereby also increasing its overall defense systems.

1.3 Expanding your kingdom

Once you've gotten the hang of the game, it's time to think of expansion. There's two ways to annex new territories: You can either conquer enemy castles or build new ones of your own. Once you've reached the 10-castle limit, you'll be able to call yourself ruler of a small empire. If you want to continue your expansion beyond 10 castles, you'll need gems. Your alchemist can research the extraction of the precious stones once he's reached level 20.

2. Basic explanations of the troops

It is very important to know which troops you can attack your opponent with during the course of the game.

2.1 Offensive troops

These offensive troops can carry out attacks for you:

  • Berserk (Production facility: Barracks)
  • Archers (Production facility: Barracks)
  • Cavalry (Productions facility: Stables)
  • Armored knights (Production facility: Stables)
  • Battering rams (Production facility: Catapult workshop)
  • Catapults (Production facility: Catapult workshop)

These troops all have extremely high attack values, making them the perfect choice to invade other castles. Mix things up a bit and use all types of offensive troops when you make an attack.

2.2 Defensive troops

Just in case you're attacked, it's a good idea not to forget about your defensive troops. Use the following defensive troops to protect your castle:

  • Infantry (Production facility: Barracks)
  • Swordsmen (Production facility: Barracks)
  • Archers (Production facility: Barracks)
  • Armored knights (Production facility: Stables)
  • Catapults (Production facility: Catapult workshop)

These troops will protect your castle with all their might since they have very high defense values. Mix things up a bit and use all types of defensive troops when defending your castle.

2.3 Spy

If you want to spy on an enemy castle and find out the strength of their troops, then use a spy to help you with this task. Send the spy on a mission in your enemy's castle. You can also use the spies to protect your castle from attempted espionage by stationing a large number of spies in your castle.

2.4 Senator

The Senator's job is to convince the castle dwellers of an enemy castle to switch over to your side so you can easily capture enemy castles. The senator's production facility is the senate.

2.5 Healers

There is a healer available in every castle. In exchange for gems, they heal your warriors after battle.

3. Looting and conquering enemy castles

3.1 Looting

Looting means robbing other castles and stealing their raw materials. You can do this by attacking enemy castles with your offensive troops.

3.2 Conquering

If you manage to mount a successful attack on an enemy castle and send in a senator, you'll be able to conquer and claim the castle as your own.

If you already have 10 castles in your possession, you'll need a deed of conquest in order to claim any more. You can get deeds of conquest in exchange for emeralds, but the price will rise every time you use one.

4. Miscellaneous questions and answers

4.1 Gold

You can get gold under the "Gold menu" in the game. You receive a small amount of gold automatically every day you log in.

Once you've completed the necessary research, you'll be able to transform gems into gold in your main castle. To make this possible, you need a level 30 alchemist. Diamonds are the most valuable gems, and can be transformed into the most gold.

There is a limit on how much gold you can create using gems in one month. To increase this limit, continue upgrading the alchemist and his research of the philosopher's stone. For every new level, you'll be able to create one more gold piece, up to a maximum of 30 per month.

4.1.1 Where can I use my gold?

With gold, you can buy the master builder and the troop master, who make it much easier for you to build castles and expand your troops when you can't be online.

Gold also allows you to accelerate the construction of buildings and the research of new skills using the "Build now" and "Research now" functions. If you want to demolish an adjoining castle or building, gold will also accelerate the demolition time.

4.2 Master builder/Troop master

The master builder makes it easier for you to expand your castles when you're not online.

In the settings, you can decide what percentage of your existing raw materials he can use to expand buildings on a regular basis.

The troop master makes it easier for you to expand your troops when you're not online. In the settings, you can decide which troop type and the maximum number of troops you want to have in your castle.

Just remember if you use both the master builder and the troop master, they'll have to share the existing supply of raw materials. If you decide to give the master builder 100% of your raw materials, that will mean that your troop master will be left out in the cold with no resources.

4.3 What can I do if I find an error in the game?

If you find an error in the game, you should either post a detailed message in the forum or send an e-mail to Support.

Please remember that keeping errors to yourself or using them to your advantage is forbidden and can result in an account ban!

4.4 What does the number of stars on the construction site mean?

The total number of stars on the construction site indicate the value of your raw material bonus. The more stars you have for each raw material on a construction site, the higher the value of each bonus. This also means if the bonus is higher, the production of raw materials will also be higher.

4.5 What is a User ID?

The User ID is your registration number. It will come in handy if you have questions for the moderators or for Support, and it will definitely make sure that you get help quickly and accurately. That's why it's important to always provide Support with your User ID and game world when you contact them.

4.6 Research

The research carried out by your alchemists has many uses. For example, it can strengthen and improve your troops in battle. Once you've reached a certain level, you'll also be able to research the extraction and transformation of gems.

4.7 Vacation substitution

You can assign another player to be your vacation substitute in Settings > Vacation Substitution, so that somebody can take over for you during your absence from the game. If you don't have any time to play, another player can temporarily take over your account for you.

You can accept and act as a vacation substitute as much as you want; just make sure that you observe the following rules:

1.1 Sitting/Vacation substitution

While a player is on vacation, and 24 hours after their return, you're not allowed to carry out any joint actions.

This doesn't just mean that you're not allowed to send raw materials, it also means that you're not allowed to attack a castle which you're currently watching over as a vacation substitute.

4.8 Treasury

You can take care of and manage your gold reserves in the treasury. All income and expenses are shown and recorded there.

4.9 Changing castle names

In the menu item, where your name, your User ID, your points and your rank are shown, you can also find the name of your castle. To the right of the castle name, you'll also find a small symbol, which you can click on if you want to change the name of your castle.

4.10 Manage groups

If you want to separate your castles into groups in order to tell the difference between offensive castles, merchant castles or defensive castles, for example, you can do this with the "Manage groups" feature. You can assign different colored symbols and names to each of the castles there.

4.11 What exactly is the marketplace?

The marketplace offers you the chance to trade raw materials with other players. You can see current offers from other players at the marketplace or make your own offers to other players here.

4.12 Direct trade

In addition to the marketplace, you can also send raw materials to other players directly. All you need to do is click on the castle of your trading partner and then click on "Send raw materials". Then enter in the amount you want to send them.

4.13 Raw material exchange

Your castle can sometimes have a large surplus of raw materials that you currently don't need. Using the raw material exchange, you can distribute the excess raw materials within your castle walls as you like. For example, if you have 900 stones and 100 pieces of wood, you can exchange them so that you have 500 rocks and 500 pieces of wood located in your storehouse. Just remember that this service doesn't come for free: You'll have to fork over some gold to use the raw material exchange!

5. Alliances

5.1 What exactly is an alliance?

An alliance is made up of a group of players who have joined together as friends to achieve great things. The different alliances either wage war against each other or found peaceful trade federations with each other.

5.2 How can I found an alliance?

Click on the menu item "Alliance" and then you can enter the required information to found an alliance.

5.3 How do I join an alliance?

You can join an alliance after you've received an invitation to join one. You can also apply to an alliance you'd like to join.

5.4 How can I invite others to join my alliance?

You can invite someone to your alliance by clicking on their username and sending them an invitation with their user profile.

6. Maps

  • The detailed map shows just a small portion of the entire map.
  • The overview map shows a larger portion of the entire map.
  • The large map shows the largest portion of the entire map.
  • The tactical map shows a complete overview of the continent.
  • The construction wagon map is used to send the construction wagon across the land to build new castles.
  • The mini map shows the portion of the map where you are currently located.

7. Construction wagons

7.1 What is a construction wagon?

You can send out your castle dwellers with construction wagons to build a new castle and expand your empire for you.

7.2 How can I send a construction wagon?

You can send a construction wagon out on the construction wagon map by selecting a free field as its final destination.

7.3 What happens if another player gets there first?

If two players send a construction wagon to the same field, only one player can build a castle there, and it's the person who gets there first. The other player who gets there second will lose their construction wagon plus all the raw materials it was carrying.

7.4 Construction wagon levels

There are four different levels of construction wagon available.

The buildings in the new castle will be built at a higher level if the construction wagon's level is higher.
